Who are you and what do you do for Greening Prey Lang (GPL)?
My name is Thong Srey Oun, I am the vice president of Datavik Natural Protection Association. I have joined the Greening Prey Lang (GPL) in several ways, such as: joining the forest Patrol Association, registration, revenue, expenditure, and transparent filing.

កត្តាដែលបានជំរុញចិត្តខ្ញុំមុនគេបង្អស់ឲចូលរួមក្នុងការ ការពារបរិស្ថានគឺដោយសារនាងខ្ញុំសង្កេតឃើញថាសព្វថ្ងៃ អាកាសធាតុមានការប្រែប្រួលជាច្រើនដួចជា រាំងស្ញួត, ទឹកជំនន់, ការបាក់ដី និងមានឧស្ម័នពុលជាច្រើននៅលើបរិយាកាស។
What first motivated you to get involved in protecting the environment?
The first two factors that motivated me to get involved in protecting the environment were because I observed that today the weather is changing such as: droughts, floods, landslides and a lot of toxic gases in the atmosphere.

ព្រៃឡង់មានលក្ខណះដោយសារ មានធនធានធម្មជាតិដ៏សម្បូរបែប ជាកន្លែងផ្ដល់ជម្រកសម្រាប់សត្វព្រៃ ជារបាំងការពារគ្រោះធម្មជាតិ និង ទាក់ទាញទឹកភ្លៀង។

Prey Lang is characterized by abundant natural resources, a habitat for wildlife, a natural disaster barrier and an attraction for rain.

What is your favorite part of your work with GPL?
Among my work with GPL, I love forest patrols because they let me know if there are any crimes and it lets me know how much natural resources have been lost and how much is left.

ដើម្បីជួយការពារព្រៃឡង់បាននោះ យើងត្រូវ៖ ផ្សព្វផ្សាយដល់ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋផ្សេងទៀតឲយល់ដឹងពីសារះប្រយោជន៍នៃព្រៃឈើ និងមានជាយុទ្ធនាការដាំដើមឈើបន្ថែមព្រមទាំងការចុះល្បាតព្រៃជាទៀងទាត់។
What can everyday Cambodians do to help protect Pray Lang?
To help protect Prey Lang we need to: Educate other people about the benefits of the forest and have regular tree planting campaigns and regular forest patrols.

What is next for your work protecting Prey Lang?
For me, the additional work to protect Prey Lang is to cooperation with existing organizations to seek help and continue to cooperate with the community committee to patrol the forest regularly.
